This program will provide timely evidence to the Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) on the impacts of Making Proud Choices!, a highly popular yet understudied evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention program. The impact study will measure the effectiveness of the program, as delivered in schools and by external health educators, using a random assignment design with schools as the unit of assignment. Follow-up surveys will be administered approximately 9 and 15 months after the baseline survey. The implementation study will measure fidelity through facilitator logs and observations, plus conduct interviews with facilitators and school administrators and focus groups with youth.
